On the 60th year since the initiation of UPC, University Piloto de Colombia, the XIV International seminar on Architecture and Arts was a momentous occasion that brought together architects and professionals who shared a common perspective. This esteemed event aimed to celebrate the achievements and progress made by UPC over the past six decades. Among the distinguished attendees were renowned designers, including our very own principal architect, who were graciously invited to share their invaluable insights on how developing countries possess a distinct advantage over their counterparts in terms of digital and technological advancements, as part of the “Digital fabrication in developing countries” capsule . The seminar served as a platform for these experts to shed light on the innovative approaches and unique solutions that emerging economies can offer to the world of architecture and design. With their wealth of experience, these visionaries highlighted the resourcefulness, adaptability, and resilience of developing countries that sets them apart on the global stage. As a participant in this great initiative, our principal architect contributed to the exchange of ideas and knowledge, fostering a stronger appreciation for the untapped potential of these nations in shaping the future of urban development.
